Bottoms Up Gastropub And Tap House Is A Coral Springs Favorite

by

Last winter, Bottoms Up Gastropub and Tap House opened in the heart of Coral Springs, and it has quickly become a neighborhood staple. The restaurant, which feels like a traditional pub, serves cuisine for lunch, dinner and brunch that combines Cuban-American and Southern influences, alongside a variety of specialty craft brews. The tap system, which fills special glasses from the bottom up with no foam or spills, inspired the name and overall concept.

"We're the only gastropub in South Florida with this unique tap system," says Co-Owner and Executive Chef Michael Jay, according to a press release. "Our selection of local and house beers, paired with our eclectic sweet and savory cuisine, makes it the perfect neighborhood hangout."

The approachable menu offers hearty portions, including shareable starters like Bacon Beer Cheese Dip, sandwiches like the Bottoms Up Burger (half-pound angus patty, guava, cream cheese, applewood smoked bacon and barbecue sauce), house favorites like the Stuffed Skillet Meatloaf and more. All proteins are prepared sous-vide - a method in which foods are vacuum-sealed and cooked in a temperature- controlled water bath - and then grilled or broiled. Made-in-house desserts like Apple Cider Mini Donuts and Skillet Peanut Butter S'mores Dip are too good to resist.

Bottoms Up Gastropub and Tap House is located at 4320 N. State Road 7, Coral Springs. For more information, call 954-507-1237 or visit bottomsuptaphouse.com.
