A Touch Of The Avant-Garde

Amalia Adds Mediterranean Flair To Miami Beach

by

Miami Beach is no stranger to excellent restaurants. But Amalia, which recently opened inside The Lennox Hotels Miami Beach, adds a touch of understated excellence well worth visiting.

At the helm of the open kitchen: Executive Chef Hernan Griccini, who is the mastermind behind the bold flavors and Mediterranean dishes that are complemented by subtle Latin American accents.

“We are working very hard to ensure that Amalia captures the true essence of the Mediterranean, while at the same time creating something truly original,” says Griccini, who previously worked at hotspots including Relais & Chateaux in Argentina and Restaurante Mandolina in Mexico City. “From the quality of our ingredients to our flavor combinations and design, we really hope to captivate our guests with an unforgettable dining experience.”

Shareable appetizers include Roasted Eggplant with sundried tomatoes, maroquin lemon, stracciatella cheese, fresh herbs, arugula salad and Fried Brussels Sprouts served with guacamole, yakitori dressing and crispy almonds. Entrees include Whole Grilled Branzino with organic roasted potatoes, gremolata dressing, anchovies and sundried tomatoes. Fresh Pastas are made in-house and include Porccini Ravioli with wild mushrooms butter, walnuts and Taleggio cheese.

Dessert options include Gluten Free Dark Chocolate made with creamy Belgian dark chocolate and served with apricot marmalade and vanilla ice cream.

Amalia is located inside The Lennox Hotels Miami Beach at 1900 Collins Ave, Miami Beach. For more information, visit lennoxmiamibeach.com/dining
