Aida Mexican Seafood is now open in Fort Lauderdale — and diners can expect diverse dishes along with an inviting ambiance.

“Our restaurant pays homage to Mexican and international cuisine through a combination of dishes and styles. Superior service paired with diverse dishes are pillars for us, and we want patrons to feel welcomed and intrigued by the mix of flavors we’ve crafted onto our menu,” Eduardo Gavilan, co-owner of Colibri 4 Restaurant Group explains in a press release.

Appetizers get things started — try the Tuna Tiradito, with grade A big-eye tuna mixed  into a morita chile marinade topped with cucumber and avocado. The Ceviche Verde de Camaron, pink shrimp with a blend of cilantro kimchi, red onion and cucumber won the  Golden Coconut award at the 2021 Coconut Grove Art Festival.

Signature dishes include Huachinango a la Talla — whole red snapper served with talla sauce and topped with cilantro and Corn Crusted Chilean Seabass, with lemon consommé and butter spinach.

The Tacos de Chicharron de Camaron, a house specialty, features corn-coated shrimp topped with chipotle mayo and cilantro. Desserts include Apple Crumb Churro and the Mexican Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookie.
