Fairytale Dining Experience

Fabel Miami Urges Guests To ‘Explore Their Five Senses’

by

Located in the heart of Wynwood, Fabel’s menu “draws from the Levantine-inspired food found in the modern states of Israel, Greece, Turkey and Lebanon.”

The 254-seat, 10,000-square-foot open-air rooftop restaurant and lounge is the brainchild of Matthew Rosenberg, owner of the award-winning architecture firm, M-Rad. There also is a 22-seat travertine stone U-bar and stepped seating around the DJ booth made for high-energy dining.

The Mediterranean-rooted menu features “chapters” rather than courses, a nod to its fairy tale reference. The “Forward” includes appetizers, followed by Chapters 1, 2 and 3. Start with the malted baby beet salad with pistachio crumble, radish, tangerine and whipped tahini. Feeling famished? The 44-ounce dry aged Allen Bros. porterhouse with roasted garlic and blue fenugreek adjika can fill the bill for one or more. Want something a bit lighter? Try the filet of Atlantic cod with caramelized baby fennel, purple potato and saffron fumet. Sides include fire-roasted artichoke hearts with calabrian chili, pomodorini oil, aji dulce and candied lemon. And as your story comes to an end, try the spiced guanaja dark chocolate custard with saffron, black cardamom, turmeric and vanilla crème fraîche.

The expansive drink menu includes an assortment of cocktails, a large selection of wines and champagne (can you say Dom Pérignon?), as well as a variety of tequila, rum, whiskies and gin.
