Le Colonial Makes Delray Debut

An Oasis From Another Era With A French Twist

by

With locations in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Lake Forest, the famed French-Vietnamese fusion restaurant, Le Colonial, continues its expansion with the opening of a 7,000-square-foot location in the new $300-million Atlantic Crossing mixed-use destination on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

The decor sizzles with soft mood lighting, ornate touches, slow-turning coastal fans, wood shutters and earthy wood tones found in a classic seaside home. Wraparound windows and black steel French doors with Parisian hardware bathe the 115-seat dining room with natural light. Adjacent to the dining room is a cocktail lounge designed to be an intimate and exclusive retreat with soft lighting, tropical greenery and plush seating of sofas and fauteuils.

The menu focuses on locally sourced vegetables and premium seafood and meats including South Florida yellowtail snapper, caramelized filet mignon, tiger prawns and red grouper.

The drink menu is seasonally driven and offers an array of signature cocktails, mocktails and 160 wine labels from which to choose. Signature cocktails include Lychee Martini, Smoked Old-Fashioned, Spicy Pineapple Margarita and Pomegranate Martini.

Want a light snack? Stop in from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for bite-sized dishes including Goi Cuon, chilled shrimp roll; Le Colonial Brussels Sprouts, crisped and topped with caramelized fish sauce and lemon and Sui Cao Chien, pan-seared chicken dumplings.

The restaurant plans to expand into Naples this year as well with new locations slated for Denver and Scottsdale in 2024.

Le Colonial is located at 601 E. Atlantic Blvd., Delray Beach. For more information, visit lecolonial.com
