Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar And Pizzeria Joins The Avenue

It’s always exciting when a new restaurant opens its doors – and we’re happy to welcome Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar and Pizzeria to Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue.

It debuted last month in the old 32 East space – which means it has big shoes to fill.

The two-story, 7,800-square-foot venue, the brainchild of Big Time Restaurant Group, is led by the company’s culinary director, Lisabet Summa, along with chef and partner Louie Bossi. Kevin Darr, former head chef of City Cellar in West Palm Beach, takes the helm as executive chef.

The 200-seat eatery has two bars, a gelato bar, a Neapolitan pizza oven, an 18-seat private dining room, and a patio and a balcony overlooking Atlantic Avenue and Old School Square. Lunch and dinner are served daily, and brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

“As a ‘sister’ restaurant to Louie Bossi’s, Elisabetta’s will operate a scratch kitchen, and the menu will feature some of that restaurant’s classic dishes but will also include expanded seafood, chicken and salad options as well as new pasta dishes,” notes a press release. “The menu will be produce-driven, utilizing seasonally available local vegetables. Dishes were inspired by the regional traditions and ingredients of Italy. Elisabetta’s will have a strong, modern Italian-vegetable-forward approach.”

Menu items include the Seasonal Vegetable Salad, with walnut oil vinaigrette and vegetable pinzimonio (Italian crudité); The Roman Lunch, which includes pizza-hearth-baked bread with burrata and prosciutto; and Guanciale Pizza, a white pizza topped with house-made guaniciale (cured pork) and stracciatella (rich Italian cheese).

Calling all carb lovers: Breads and desserts, including Almond Cake, Gelato Cake, Hazelnut Cake, and Orange and Cornmeal Cake, are made in-house. Libations are also top-notch and will be overseen by Ervin Machado, a level 2 sommelier and beverage director for Louie Bossi’s.

Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar and Pizzeria is located at 32 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach. For more information, call 561-560-6699 or visit elisabettas.com.
