There’s no place like home. And when a restaurant can make guests feel as comfortable as home, that’s special.

That’s what Executive Chef-Owner Mariano Araya has instilled in Casa Mariano, which recently opened in Miami.

“This concept is a labor of love,” Mariano, formerly of Mariano’s Cuisine in Doral, said in a press release. “From the moment guests step inside, I want them to feel like they are walking into my own home. Every detail, from the décor to the menu and the wine selection, was carefully considered and refined. I’m thrilled to finally welcome everyone to my casa!”

The menu includes starters like Black Garlic Shrimp with oyster mushrooms and chardonnay vanilla cream, Morcilla Spring Rolls served with raisin-brandy sauce and Tartare de Filet served with quail egg, carrot aioli and crispy rice.

There’s also Lobster Thermidor, Casserole de Fruits de Mer with herb sauce and coconut milk and a hearty Ravioli de Ossobuco with Madeira wine sauce, oyster mushrooms and green peas.

Diners will also discover Basque Branzino served with grilled asparagus; Chicken Roulade with smoked, aged Gouda, cotto ham, roasted bell peppers and asparagus and four different steaks and chops, including the Grilled Veal Chop; a 10-ounce cut of Prime Skirt Steak; a 14-ounce Prime Ribeye; and an eight-ounce center-cut Filet Mignon.

A curated wine list, craft cocktails and tempting desserts round out the offerings.

Casa Mariano is located at 8200 NW 27 St., Suite 106, Doral. For more information, call 305-392-0507 or visit casamariano.com
