Redhead Sandwich Brings Casual New Fare To Miami Beach

by

Brothers Sammy and Christian Mounayyer have put their own twist on the South Beach dining scene.

The duo recently opened Redhead Sandwich (their ginger locks were no doubt the impetus for the name) next door to The Villa Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion. The fast-casual Ocean Drive eatery offers sandwiches, crepes, salads, smoothies, milkshakes and fresh juices, all made-to-order.

Build your own sandwich by choosing from a variety of toppings, meats and cheeses. Or get your sando fix with a panini, like the Caprese (pesto, tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and olive oil), or a bagel sandwich, such as the Smoked Salmon (cream cheese, cucumbers, salmon, red onions and capers).

On a hot day, Redhead’s refreshing drink and dessert options are sure to hit the spot. Choose from nine flavors of shave ice; order a smoothie (the Berry Explosion is packed with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries); or try the Miami Pineapple, featuring fresh-squeezed pineapple juice served in a whole pineapple.

Redhead Sandwich is located at 1130 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. For more information, call 305-613-5532 or visit redheadsandwich.com.
