The old adage that says when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, is especially apropos for Chef Josh Wahler.

Chef Wahler, who graduated first in his class from the Arts Institute of NYC and was executive chef at restaurants including Estiatorio Milos in Miami, saw his consulting business wane during the pandemic.

But from adversity came opportunity and, while he was home cooking for his sons, he came up with an idea.

“We were all at home, cooking and baking and I’ve been spoiled as a chef, having access to fresh, delicious meats, fish and poultry. The restaurants were closed so no one was eating out and enjoying the amazing stuff the chefs cook with and my vendors were hardly selling anything – so Wahler & Sons was born,” he explains in a press release.

Now anyone from Miami to Boynton Beach can enjoy everything from seafood to ground-to-order Angus beef burgers - delivered right to their homes.

Food arrives fresh, not frozen, in individually vacuum-sealed packages. Items are sold à la carte, in sampler or gift sets and include bone-in pork chops, Faroe Island Salmon, Mediterranean Sea Bass and antibiotic-free, free-range chicken as well as homemade barbecue sauce and spice rubs.
