Rumbar Halloween Pop-Up Coming To Key Biscayne

Beware. Rumbar, normally a 1940s Havana-style bar and lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami, is getting into the Halloween spirit.

Or should we say spirits

Its monthlong House of Spells pop-up bar kicks off Oct. 1 with “hair-raising bites, haunted cocktails and spooky entertainment,” daily from 3 p.m. to close, according to a press release.

Tempting thematic eats include The Kraken, a warm crab, spinach and artichoke dip with grilled pita, and The Tombstone, with foraged wild mushroom, truffle essence and arugula on artisan flatbread. Wash it all down with the Grave Robber (Blavod Black vodka, crème de cacao and dry curacao), a Shot of Pixie Dust (Brockman’s gin, lavender syrup and lemon juice) or other specialty cocktails.

The frightening festivities end with the Spook-tacular on Nov. 1 from 6-10 p.m. The devilish wrap party will include Dia de los Muertos–themed face painting, entertainment and a special menu.

Organizers have a spine-chilling request for partygoers: “Costumes are most definitely encouraged.”

Rumbar is located at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, 455 Grand Bay Drive, Miami. For more information, call 305-365-4500 or visit ritzcarlton.com.
