Sushi For You By Bou

Omakase Options Increase In Miami

Miami’s Brickell’s dining and entertainment district is now home to South Florida’s second Sushi by Bou.

The restaurant, located inside the SLS Brickell Hotel, brings an intimate omakase experience to the table. The Japanese phrase meaning “I’ll leave it up to you,” allows chefs to incorporate seasonal ingredients and preferred techniques into an exclusive, personalized menu. Chefs decide the menu and guests simply sit back and choose from two signature options: a 12-course or a 17-course experience.

Selections can include Hamachi (yellowtail), Botan Ebi (spotted prawn), Ikura (salmon roe), Hotate (scallop), O-Toro (fatty tuna), Unagi (barbecue eel) and signature Wagyuni (“surf and turf”). Hand rolls and other sushi favorites can be made upon request. Cocktails, imported sake and rare Japanese whiskeys complement the meal.

Sushi by Bou also opened a Fort Lauderdale location inside Salt7. The chain was created by NYC-based hospitality group SimpleVenue and has locations in New Jersey, New York and Chicago.

“This new neighborhood gem will set the stage with an elegant and fun spin on the traditional sushi counter experience proven through our roster of successful locations across the country that all share the art of crafting a memorable gastronomic affair for our guests,” says SimpleVenue’s Chief Hospitality Officer Richie Romero.
