Chef Michael Schwartz Revamps Miami Beach Restaurant

No doubt Chef Michael Schwartz has had to change a recipe on the fly.

So, when COVID-19 struck, putting a damper on indoor dining, Schwartz did what he does best: He designed a new concept for his eatery Traymore by Michael Schwartz at the COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach.

The casual spot was transformed into a breezy beachside brasserie featuring the James Beard Award-winning chef’s signature fresh and local comfort food.

An airy covered patio and beachside terrazzo-tiled terrace provide the perfect vibe for tasty bites and cool cocktails. 

“As a longtime Miami Beach resident, I am pleased to share this new menu featuring comforting, fresh and tasty bistro dishes in a casual neighborhood setting,” Schwartz said in a press release.

The menu includes the Grass-Fed Double Cheeseburger, Belgian Endives Salad, Roasted Chicken, Spicy Moroccan Lamb Meatballs and Wok Salmon as well as handmade pasta dishes and small bites. A craft cocktail menu and extensive wine list complete the experience.

Stop by Traymore – which is located in a 1930s building and whose interior was also refreshed – for Sunset Sips Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. to indulge in half-off wine, cocktails and snacks.
