Looking for something fun to do on the weekend? Head for Yellow Green Farmer’s Market in Hollywood.

The market, which recently expanded its hours to 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, also added live music and four tiki huts which offer shade and a spot to enjoy food.

There’s more in the works: Plans call for two bars that will serve classic and signature libations. “The new hours and offerings are just the beginning; plans are in place for two major new editions to YGFM come 2022 including an indoor food hall (The Station) and an antiquarian annex (The Nest) brimming with antiques and collectibles,” details a press release. 

The 190,000-square-foot venue offers more than 600 stalls (almost 200 are food and beverage centric). Visitors will discover locally sourced fruits and vegetables, exotic plants, prepared foods and artisans selling clothing, jewelry and handmade crafts and décor — and more. 

“Come support and chat with local farmers and chefs to gain a deeper understanding of the many healthful and environmental benefits of seasonal eating,” notes the press release. 

The market, which first opened in 2009, has plenty of parking.
