City Oyster Is Now Serving Up Kombucha Cocktails

If you're tired of the same old Cosmopolitans and martinis, City Oyster has a new cocktail creation to shake up your happy hour. The Delray Beach restaurant is now serving cocktails containing kombucha, the probiotic-rich functional beverage.

City Oyster is sourcing its kombucha from Non Prophet Kombucha in Boynton Beach, which we wrote about in our December Wellness department. The refreshing new cocktails include Summer Bucha, with Hendricks Handcrafted Gin, fresh-squeezed orange juice and mango-ginger kombucha; French Bucha, with fresh pineapple, Ketel One Peach/Orange Blossom Botanical, Chambord and dry-hopped kombucha; Bucha Spritz, with Aperol, dry-hopped kombucha and lemon zest; and Mexican Bucha, with One With Life Organic Tequila, agave nectar and passion fruit kombucha.

Each cocktail is $12, and kombucha flights – including four 4-ounce samples – are available for $9.

If you ask me, this sounds like the perfect way to cool down during the dog days of summer.
