El-Ad National Properties Partners With Boca Raton Museum of Art

El-Ad National Properties, an Elad Group company, is pleased to announce the unveiling of its public art initiative, in partnership with the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

El-Ad National Properties has worked closely with the Boca Raton Museum of Art to frame an art program that will bring works of art to ALINA Residences Boca Raton on a rotating basis. The first two sculptures of the rotating public art initiative are now installed along Mizner Boulevard in front of ALINA, located at 300 SE Mizner Boulevard, for residents and the public to enjoy. The installation of these sculptures marks the upcoming completion of the much-anticipated, new luxury development in Boca Raton which is slated to open this quarter. 

“As the museum celebrates its 20th anniversary at Mizner Park, our partnership with ALINA further supports the growing Art in Public Places initiatives throughout the city,” said Irvin Lippman, Executive Director of the Boca Raton Museum of Art in a press release. “We are always eager and willing to bring works of art into our community and our relationship with ALINA allows us to complement and enhance the environment of Boca Raton’s fastest-growing areas, further activating Mizner Boulevard for the scores of passersby to enjoy.”

The two sculptures on view include “cXc XXII” by Larry Mohr, 1984, a large abstract work constructed out of cut aluminum I-beams and “Key Angel” by Guy Dill, 2005, a piece featuring several bronze shapes balanced to create a precarious yet beautiful structure.

We are pleased to display these stunning sculptures for our residents and the public to enjoy while enhancing the city landscape.”

Art has always been a prominent theme in ALINA’s development. Architect Peter Stromberg of GarciaStromberg/GS4 Studios began the design process for the luxury condominium by painting a picture of his vision for the project on canvas. His design evolved from this painting, which still stands as a point of inspiration for the design teams involved in the project and will live permanently within ALINA’s lobby upon completion in early 2021.
