Meet The Women Who Make This Club Wonderfull

“What makes our club wonderful are the wonder women who support it every day,” says Jennifer M. Jolly, director of operations at Boca Grove in Boca Raton. “They touch every aspect of life here, and that brings a warmth to the club that others may not have.”

At Boca Grove, seven women hold key management positions, and another nine ensure that day-to-day operations run seamlessly. From food and beverage to the fitness center, accounting to marketing, golf to tennis, it’s the women who keep things moving smoothly.

Boca Grove is an intimate luxury-lifestyle community with 444 homes offering many of the amenities found in larger luxury-living communities. Residents range in age from 3 months to 103 years.

“People choose to live here because they want to be in a multi-generational neighborhood,” says Jolly. “As women, we naturally foster and nurture camaraderie and a family feel.”

Boca Grove was built more than 35 years ago on a 300-acre Honeybell orange grove. In a nod to the past, Honeybell trees were used as decorations for a season kickoff event for the membership last November. They were later planted along Boca Grove Boulevard.

“In our early years, we had so many trees that, when the golfers went out, their golf carts had a picker and a bag,” Jolly reports. “Members were encouraged to take the fruit home.”

The clubhouse underwent a facelift in 2017, with renovations continuing the following year with a sports bar, tennis center, guardhouses and golf course bunkers. This month, an $11.5 million renovation of the two-story sports and wellness center gets underway, with the addition of a resort-style pool, a kid’s center, and newly renovated basketball and pickleball courts. A new restaurant offering alfresco dining will also be a part of the new center. Completion is expected in 2021.

Boca Grove’s crowning jewel is its Jim Fazio-designed, 18-hole championship golf course boasting no tee times!

“Members simply show up when they want to play, and our team has them on the course typically in under 10 minutes,” says Jolly.

Membership is open to non-residents, which includes golf, tennis, fitness, social events and dining at four onsite venues.

“A member is a member,” says Jolly. “Whether you are an equity member who owns a home, rent a home or join as a non-resident member, you are treated the same.”

What makes Boca Grove a standout?

“We engage our members – truly listen to them,” she says. “We support them through marriages, births and deaths. It’s part of who we are – the fabric we have woven – what makes us wonderfull!”
