The Boca Lago Golf & Country Club is ‘The New Way to Club’ according to fun-loving Managing Director, Linda Nigro.

“There are so many exciting activities and events always happening at the Club, everything from Hawaiian luaus to high teas, themed dinners, Wine Down Wednesdays with weekly live entertainment, Thirsty Thursdays, Superbowl parties, Danzyland Day with pony rides, petting zoos and so much more,” Nigro says.

This next-generation privately-owned club offers a 27-hole golf course, updated fitness centers, multiple fine dining experiences, yoga and water aerobics classes, and a new trackman simulator.

“I am over the moon excited to be part of this Club. I have an Amazing Team who share my passion and I know the key to being successful is to love what you do, and I love every minute of it,” she says.

Nigro’s background also shows her passion for managing events.

“For more than 30 years, I’ve worked as award-winning design consultant for Thomasville Furniture and manager of the Westchester, New York showroom. It was very natural to transition as Managing Director and handle areas like marketing, club décor, catered events, member services, entertainment and public relations,” she says.

“Along with John Stampfl, my Co-Managing Director, my goal is to build exciting moments that will please all (young and seasoned members) that come through our door, while John handles the membership and golf operations of the Club.”

Over the past few years, the Boca Lago Golf & Country Club, has seen new renovation, which Nigro has played a key role in décor. The renovations consist of a poolside bar, Dogleg Lounge, grille room, bridal suite, pro shop and a ballroom that hosts many fabulous weddings, charity events, golf tournament dinners, galas and more.

“There is a lot of excitement and growth within the Club that I love seeing. We are constantly looking for ways to improve for our members,” she says.
