Boca Raton associate A. Michael Wargon joined Day Pitney LLP in May. He represents high-net-worth individuals and their families in all areas of trusts and estates law.
Wargon is one of six new attorneys Day Pitney has added to its Florida offices since its merger with Richman Greer.
He and the nearly 70 attorneys in Day Pitney’s individual clients department – among the largest practices of its kind in the country – serve the unique needs of individuals and their families.
In addition, the firm’s family office practice provides the full suite of legal services to families of wealth – including their family offices and principals, executives and family members – in complex domestic and international matters. Day Pitney has counseled family-owned and family-controlled businesses for more than 100 years.
“We collaborate seamlessly across practice groups and offices to provide holistic and tailored advice to each client,” Wargon says.
This includes all areas related to wealth planning, including the preservation and tax-efficient transfer of wealth, change of domicile and international estate planning.
The merger with Richman Greer allows Day Pitney to better serve the growing needs of its clients who have been relocating their families and businesses to the Sunshine State for its warmer climate and tax-friendly environment.
The law firm, which already had offices in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, significantly expanded its presence with the merger, including adding offices in Miami and West Palm Beach and tripling the number of professionals serving the firm’s clients in Florida.
