Gary Betensky, a seasoned litigator with almost 40 years of experience, joined Day Pitney LLP, an East Coast law firm with national and international reach, when it merged with Richman Greer in 2019. The firm’s nearly 300 attorneys work in 13 offices in six states, including three Florida offices in Boca Raton, Coral Gables and West Palm Beach.

Betensky, a Florida Bar board-certified business litigation attorney recognized for his special knowledge, skill, proficiency, ethics and professionalism, is a passionate advocate for clients in the courtroom, but he also works hard to resolve disputes before they evolve into a lawsuit. 

“I always prepare for the reality of litigation. I will go to the wall and through it for clients, but I also believe it’s always about the clients’ goals and their best interests, including exploring all creative options for resolution,” Betensky says. “Through the process of negotiation, clients control their own destiny. However, if the matter cannot be resolved, we skillfully present our case to the judge or jury.” 

When not practicing law, Betensky is involved in numerous community activities. He is past President and currently a Board Member of the American Jewish Committee for Palm Beach County. He is also Chair of the Palm Beach County Environmental Control Hearing Board and past Chair of The Florida Bar Ethics Committee.
