Yunia DeMicco-Nadler is the founder of DeMicco-Nadler, a Florida-based law firm dedicated to workers’ compensation and family law. DeMicco-Nadler’s 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation helps her handle this complex area of law. She’s also passionate about family law, believing in peacefully resolving issues such as divorce and child custody disputes.

DeMicco-Nadler strives to keep family law matters as confidential as possible with an eye toward negotiating agreements with the other side rather than engaging in protracted litigation.

“No matter whether you have a simple or complicated divorce, what determines whether the process goes smoothly, often depends on whether both parties are emotionally ready and have fully accepted that their relationship no longer works,”  says DeMicco-Nadler.

She also talks about the importance of hiring an attorney that makes you feel comfortable navigating the rollercoaster of emotions that parties often experience during the divorce process. “Family law issues are very personal,” she says. Sometimes, it is hard for clients to open up and share their experiences with their lawyers. For that reason, she stresses the importance of finding a lawyer that matches your personality.

DeMicco-Nadler received her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. She also does pro-bono work through the Legal Aid Service of Broward County. Born in Cuba, she now lives in Boca Raton.
