For the past 40 years, Gary M. Cohen has dedicated his career to medical malpractice cases, a delicate and complex niche of the legal profession with an important goal in mind.

He found his specialization after working for a former doctor who switched careers into law.
“The intermixing of medicine and law is not only very difficult but very fascinating. No two cases are the same,” Cohen says. “You have to learn an entire new discipline, and, in each case, you learn about a specific branch of medicine.”

Cohen has lived in Boca Raton since 1985 and taught medical malpractice at St. Thomas University School of Law. He regularly speaks at medical malpractice seminars.
