For Karoline Asbell, D.D.S., dentistry goes beyond the dental chair. At her practice she treats each patient with a familial like care.

“We build relationships that extend further than my office; when you look at people like family, you take care of them like family. That is why we provide the highest quality care using state-of-the-art dental equipment and why we build lifelong connections with our patients and their families,” Dr. Asbell says.

As a general dentist, she handles preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, which includes anything from checkups, teeth cleaning and whitening, veneers, simple restorations, crowns, bridges and various implant prostheses. Complex and simple implant procedures, laser treatments, gingival grafting, biopsies and extractions are handled through Dr. Cordero, a periodontist with more than 20 years of experience who joined her practice a few years ago. Their focus is to offer a conservative alternative approach, whenever possible.

“I come from a family of physicians, so I grew up with my father showing me how to care for a patient’s overall health and well-being. People come to my office because they trust us and they know we have their best interest at heart,” says Dr. Asbell, whose New York University College of Dentistry degree has taught her various methods of operating dentistry.

When Dr. Asbell began her practice in 2012, she took over an existing Boca Raton dental practice and grew it into an all-female staff that’s three times the size of the original one.

“It was important to have hired women from all different backgrounds. I wanted them to feel represented and to know that their skills were seen and appreciated. It has been more than a decade, and we’ve all grown with one another,” she says. “I’ve even had three patients become team members because of how I operate inside the office.”

Originally from Brazil, and a mother of two, Dr. Asbell knew she wanted to help people from a young age, and her passion for dentistry shows through the environment she creates.

“I want long-lasting relationships with each patient and it starts with making sure we’re professional, honest and caring with anyone who walks through our doors,” she says. “The minute you walk into my dental office you know it is a special place.”
