Alisa Padron Helps Lead The Family Business

Alisa Padron grew up in her family’s flooring business, Padron Flooring and Design Center.

“I remember spending lots of afternoons and evenings after school at our business. Often, my brother, cousins and I would play hide and seek underneath the carpet displays while customers shopped,” she says.

Today, she’s vice-president of the company, overseeing daily operations and client relationships as well as selecting products for the stunning 10,000-square-foot showroom in Lake Worth.. 

“I love selecting our products,” Padron says. “I get to travel to Italy each year to Cersaie, where all of the new product launches take place. My father and I have made this trip each year since 2010, and my daughter has even joined us a few times. I love being a part of the constant innovation in the world of tile.”

Padron Flooring and Design Center offers a wide array of porcelain, stone, marble and wood flooring for indoors and outdoors. The business is currently undergoing a 10,000-square-foot expansion with a new area focusing on large format tiles.

“We import all of our material directly from the manufacturer, allowing us to provide the best selection and pricing for our clients. We also stock all of our materials, allowing for a quick turnaround time,” she says.

Padron stays on top of the new product lines and trends in the industry – like inkjet printing on tiles and large format tiles – and passes her deep knowledge on to customers.

“We ask our clients questions regarding their needs and lifestyle in order to provide them with the best products for their home,” she says. “I like to keep the perfect balance between what is aesthetically pleasing and also practical for the home.”

She adds: “I am grateful to be a part of our business and do something each day that I love. I love that I get to spend each day getting to know our clients all while spending time with my family.”
