Operating 51 years as a family-owned business, RCC Associates focuses on high-end, large-scale restaurant build outs, hotel renovations and other hospitality projects. Robyn Raphael Dynan is the president of this well-known Deerfield Beach general contractor. RCC builds for the most recognizable concepts in the restaurant industry like The Cheesecake Factory, Hell’s Kitchen, Eddie V’s and more. With nearly 100 employees and licensed in 33 states, RCC has become synonymous with quality and service, having grown its business from repeat clients and referrals.

RCC delivers the expertise necessary for success. Raphael Dynan says that their clients know that they can trust RCC. “We’re a company that will stand behind you,” she says. “We don’t want to build one restaurant; we want to build all of them. If we make a mistake, we fix it.”

In 1998, following the passing of RCC’s Founder and Robyn’s father, Richard Raphael, his wife Beverly Raphael assumed the helm as President/CEO. Along with Partner/EVP Rick Rhodes, they grew the company to its current standing. And now, Raphael Dynan has become a well-respected executive in the traditionally male-dominated construction industry. “Usually, you see a dad passing the business to his son,” she says. “This is different and what sets us apart. It tells other women that they can go into any field. My dad saw that some of the most important personality traits that make you good at being a project manager come naturally to women, like multitasking and being proactive.”

Raphael Dynan joined RCC in an entry-level position and worked her way up the ranks over the course of 18 years. “I love that we’re keeping my dad’s legacy alive.” She raves about working with her mom. “We have so much fun working together,” she says. “We’re lucky that we’re so like-minded.” Raphael Dynan and Raphael have a shared vision for RCC and a shared passion for philanthropy. Raphael Dynan is a board member for Habitat for Humanity and has served as co-chair for its Women Build. She is also on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement South Florida and actively supports many organizations including Go Pink and the Brain Tumor Foundation.
