The 31st Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Rendezvous, founded by Rita and Rick Case, featured the signature Dine Around the Docks Yacht Hop at the Fisher Island Club.
Attendees dressed in chic yachting attire were treated to the good life as yacht owners and captains did their best to impress guests, followed by special entertainment.
Then, a formal gala at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne included a performance by pop singer Jason Derulo, a Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County alumnus and a 2018 Boys & Girls Clubs of America Hall of Fame inductee. Derulo is a multi- platinum powerhouse who has generated more than 9 billion audio streams.
"Rendezvous is the largest gathering of mega-yachts for charity in the world, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County," says Brian Quail, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. "To date, the event has raised more than $30 million for our organization and the more than 12,300 at-risk youth it serves."
The event weekend was chaired by Christy and Larry Hierholzer and featured Deborah and Gary Wendt, who were inducted into the Dream Makers Society.
"We're thrilled to have hosted the event again at the beautiful Fisher Island Club and The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne," say Rita and Rick Case. "With the tremendous Saturday night gala featuring entertainment by Jason Derulo, this was an incredible celebration - the biggest and best Rendezvous yet and a memorable weekend for those who attended, all for a much deserving cause."
