Not My Daughter…find a cure now! Annual Shopping Boutique Luncheon will take place on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heron Bay Marriott in Coral Springs. The event includes a 40-vendor shopping boutique, a silent auction with raffle prizes, luncheon and featured speaker, Bob Carey, from the Tutu Project.
Carey, who proudly dons a pink tutu, raises awareness and funds to support women, men and their families with breast cancer diagnoses. There will also be a performance by the Dance Theatre of Parkland and a shopping boutique.
Since 2010, this volunteer organization has raised over $1 million to fund vital research and bring resources for breast cancer fighters. According to Jody Sternfeld, co-founder and co-chair, “Not My Daughter…Find A Cure Now! is committed to our mission to continue to bring vital support services, high risk screening, fund research for a cure, and unite with our community to bring awareness to this important cause, so we can all look forward to a future without breast cancer.”
All event proceeds fund breast cancer research and provide valuable resources through the Not My Daughter Patient Support Centers at UHealth Sylvester Comprehensive Care Centers.
