On May 13, it’s sure to be a sweet night when area business leaders and professionals have the opportunity to hear from Jeff Rubin at the Industry Icon Series event at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County campus in Boca Raton.
A nearly 30-year veteran of the candy industry and a Candy Hall of Fame inductee, Rubin has built his IT’SUGAR brand into the largest and fastest-growing specialty candy retailer in the world, with more than 100 storefronts.
Hosted by the federation’s Business & Professional Division, the evening will feature networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres (dietary laws observed), followed by the program.
Under Rubin’s leadership, IT’SUGAR continually introduces innovative new concepts. Its latest location is the world’s first “candy department store,” spanning nearly 24,000 square feet over three levels in New Jersey.
“It’s exciting to learn from those at the top of their game, and we know that Jeff Rubin’s entrepreneurial experience and insights will be of high interest and great value to everyone across B&P’s broad range of industries and professions,” says Jonathan Schwartz, who co-chairs the Industry Icon Series with Fred Stern.
Adds Stern: “The B&P Division, co-chaired by Wendy Lipsich and Benji Gene, has built a diverse community of South Palm Beach County business leaders and professionals who look forward to regular gatherings. We continually learn together as we make meaningful professional and personal connections that help build our businesses as well as our community.”
