Boca Raton will recognize its most valuable male leaders at the 18th Annual Men with Caring Hearts (MWCH) Awards Luncheon on April 26 at Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton.
At the event, hosted by Florence Fuller Child Development Centers (FFCDC), Palm Beach County’s nonprofit organizations have the opportunity to honor their male volunteers who selflessly commit to making life better for others in South Florida.
Heather Shaw, event co-chair and FFCDC board member, and Scott Van Wyngarden, event co-chair and FFCDC supporter, welcome the community to join them for a champagne reception as well as a raffle and a silent auction. Then, attendees will enjoy a sit-down luncheon and awards ceremony with a special presentation from some of FFCDC’s children.
Every year, the program also honors two extraordinary men who have personally dedicated their lives to the betterment of our community. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Gary Peters, board president of Boca Helping Hands. The Biggest Heart Award will be presented to John C. Tolbert, president of the Boca Raton Resort & Club. As FFCDC collects testimonials from their peers, it is clear why these two upstanding gentlemen have been selected to be honored.
This event is made possible by compassionate supporters and participating nonprofits. All proceeds directly impact FFCDC’s most vulnerable children and their families through the power of education. The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive magazine sponsor. O
