A sold-out crowd enjoyed Tri-County Animal Rescue’s 7th Annual Peppermint Bark & Brunch Nov. 21 at Trump International in West Palm Beach.
The event attracted 245 supporters and their canine companions who enjoyed brunch, cocktails, live music, as well as a doggie buffet, a raffle and a variety of trunk shows that created a “boutique row” for gift shopping
Lois Pope, one of America’s leading philanthropists, was honored for her unwavering support of Tri-County Animal Rescue. Her generous gift led the way for Tri-County to build the Lois Pope Pet Clinic and in June of 2019 marked the dawning of a new era in health care for thousands of low-income Florida families who cannot afford medicine, shots, medical tests or even spaying and neutering for their pets.
This state-of-the-art, fully equipped center enables low-income families to receive affordable and sometimes free health care for their pets.
Dr. Robin Ganzert, CEO of American Humane, announced an additional $10,000 gift to Tri-County’s Lois Pope Pet Clinic in honor of Lois Pope. This donation is in addition to their previous $25,000 gift to the clinic.
Andrea Stark, Adrien Arpel, Debra Robinson, Janna Bullock, and Gregg Beletsky served as Chairpersons of Peppermint Bark & Brunch, one of Tri-County Animal Rescue’s major fundraising events. All proceeds directly benefit Tri-County’s Emergency Medical Fund, by which life-saving pro-bono surgeries and other crucial medical procedures are made possible.
