On March 9, community members and leaders will gather for the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center’s “Special Night for Special Needs” Dream Builder Celebration.
For the past 13 years, our community of Dream Builders has consistently come together in truly generous support of the life-changing and critical programs presented by the Levis JCC’s Helene & Roy Schwedelson Special Needs Department. The reception will pay tribute to Linda & Ivan Gefen, Dream Builders for 13 years — from the very beginning! Logan Midler, a teen volunteer in the Fit & Fun Sports, Saturday Play at the J, Parents’ Night Out, Paul Markhoff Otzar Sunday School, After School and Marleen Forkas Camp Kavod programs, will be honored with the Yad B’Yad — Hand in Hand Teen Leadership Award.
The event is also an opportunity to showcase the Helene & Roy Schwedelson Special Needs Department programs which include summer, winter and spring camps for pre-K – 12th grade, Fit & Fun Program, After School Enrichment, Sunday School, Parents’ Night Out & Kids Night Out, Move & Mingle Adult Fitness Program, Year-Round Parent & Caregiver Support, Group Sibling Support Group, social activities, a self defense, safety and self-awareness program for teenage girls and adult women and Parent & Caregiver Support Group Sibling Support Group.
Each year, the “Dream Builder” event continues to grow, as does the heartfelt community support for these critical programs.
The event, chaired by Lauren & Mark Gotlieb and Lori & Jason Solodkin, is generously sponsored by Boca Regional Hospital Foundation.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
