The Children’s Foundation of Palm Beach County held the First Annual Walk the Walk at the Palm Beaches Marathon Dec. 11 on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.
More than 300 people participated in the walk along the waterfront, which raised more than $275,000 for more than thirty children’s charities.
The funfest included food stations with popcorn, pretzels and funnel cakes, along with children’s activities including balloon animals, face painting, action videos and more. All participants received a medal and gifts.
“Everyone had such a good time at the walk and it raised a substantial amount of money for local children’s charities,” said Pamela Weinroth, Executive Director of the Children’s Foundation of Palm Beach County.
