More than 250 Impact 100 Palm Beach County (PBC) members and guests gathered at Neiman Marcus in Boca Raton to toast the beginning of another year of high-impact grant giving while mingling over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Neiman Marcus and The Boca Raton Observer were sponsors of the event.
Kelly Fleming, president of Impact 100 PBC, welcomed guests and discussed the mission of Impact. Kimberly Boldt Cartwright and Jeannine Morris, co-presidents elect, introduced the speaker, Barbara Stark, president and CEO of the Milagro Center. The Milagro Center was awarded one of the organization’s high-impact $100,000 grants in 2021 to expand its Ladies Empowerment and Achievement Program (L.E.A.P.) for at-risk teen girls. The goals of the L.E.A.P. program are to help young women graduate from high school, discover and develop career skills and become self-supporting members of our community.
