The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Dorothy P. Seaman Department of Women’s Philanthropy welcomed more than 400 women to its 2024 Lion of Judah Luncheon. Held Feb. 7 at B’nai Torah Congregation, the luncheon featured guest speaker Dara Horn, author of “People Love Dead Jews,” and Israeli singing megastar Gad Elbaz. More than 100 women were welcomed as new Lions of Judah. The large contingency of new Lions marks the first time in Federation history that such an influx of women have joined in a short period of time.
