ChildNet, Palm Beach County’s Community-Based Care lead agency, hosted the 8th Annual Care for Kids Palm Beach Luncheon Feb. 28 at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton.

The event raised $90,000 to support foster youth and families throughout Palm Beach County. During the Luncheon, which was emceed by WPEC-TV CBS 12 Anchor Liz Quirantes, ChildNet presented Dr. Heidi Schaeffer with the Champion for Children Award for her outstanding support of ChildNet and commitment to Palm Beach County’s children in foster care. In addition, Marsh McLennan Agency received the Community Advocate Award. Twiler Smith, served as the keynote speaker.
