On January 26, Arts Garage welcomed over 175 community leaders, philanthropists and Arts Garage supporters to their annual gala and Mardi Gras Ball. Guests enjoyed an open bar, jambalaya, live painting by artist McKinson Souverain and authentic N'Awlins Jazz featuring the legendary Kermit Ruffins. Ruffins had the attendees out of their chairs dancing in true New Orleans fashion. The silent and live auctions emceed by Janelle Taylor, the Gala Gal, were a huge success raising funds for the non-profit organization’s diverse music and art programming. Auction items included exclusive golf packages, jewelry, exotic vacation opportunities, an iPic President’s pass, fine art and more.
