It’s January and you know what that means: New Year’s resolutions! Many of us promise to eat healthy and shed some of those pounds we packed on during the holidays. Now there’s a new (or should we say renewed) option for those looking to get a total body workout.
Pure Barre is making its return to South Florida under new ownership. COVID-19 forced the closing of many of the fitness studios across the country. Four of those studios located in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Boca and Pembroke Pines are now owned by Rebecca Stalek, Martin Davis, Darin Cavallo, wife Holly Cavallo and Jason Cavallo — all of whom met as Club Pilates franchisees in New York. Darin and Jason Cavallo are brothers who graduated from Jupiter High School, so they know the area well.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to bring fitness back into the lives of those in the community who enjoy and miss it. By combining our New York hustle with Florida’s eternal summer mode, our goal is to inspire all members with positivity and the desire to live their best lives,” says Stalek.
Pure Barre is described as a combination of yoga, Pilates and ballet, and there are classes for everyone from beginners to those who want to feel the burn and challenge themselves. The local studios are offering a total body workout focused on low-impact, high intensity isometric movements that lift and tone muscles to improve strength, agility and flexibility for everybody in 45-50 minutes.
