Launched in 1999 with Cat Cora of “Iron Chef” fame as the first celebrity chef, there are now six chefs working with Home Bistro creating gourmet meals. Ayesha Curry, “Hungry Fan” Chef Daina Falk, “Master Chef” Claudia Sandoval, “Top-Chef All-Stars” Richard Blais, Celebrity Pastry and Dessert Chef Melanie Moss and soon-to-launch celebrity chefs Roblé Ali and Priyanka Naik.
Meals include dishes like Lemon-caper Piccata Steak, Mediterranean Chicken Breast and Peri-peri Pork Tenderloin, as well as dishes that have already garnered a buzz, like Sandoval’s Chicken Mole Enchiladas.
In May, the company launched its first subscription-based offering for its Model Meals brand in California. The subscription plan consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to five days per week and offers a Whole30 and Paleo approved meals.
The company also announced in July it was rolling out a new three-tiered pricing plan this Fall.
