Halloween used to be the only time we donned masks.
But, this being 2020, nothing is as it should be. With the pandemic changing the way we celebrate almost every holiday, we have some alternatives to handing out candy this Halloween. Here are some items that won’t cause cavities and just might come in handy.
- Hand sanitizer is useful for almost any situation. Small bottles can be tucked into purses or pockets, and colorful ones will appeal to kids.
- Child-sized, themed reusable masks are available in prints ranging from Disney characters to dinosaurs.
- Individually wrapped wet naps are essential for wiping candy, dirt and germs from little hands.
- Lip balm, in fruity flavors, can help protect kids’ tender lips from getting chapped under masks.
- Shaped soaps make all those hand-washing sessions a little more entertaining.
- Toilet paper in fun prints – just in case there’s another shortage.
