ChildNet to host the 7th Annual “Care for Kids” Luncheon on Tuesday, March 8th at the Woodfield Country Club from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
· The Luncheon, which is sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is an opportunity for the community to rally behind ChildNet, Palm Beach County’s Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the community and foster care system.
· During the Luncheon, ChildNet will present Kathy Leone, Advocate for Foster Children and Paul Leone, CEO of The Breakers Palm Beach with the Champion for Children Award in recognition of their outstanding support of ChildNet and their commitment to Palm Beach County’s children in foster care.
· Florida Power & Light (FPL) will also be honored with the Community Advocate Award for its ongoing efforts to advocate, educate and volunteer on behalf of the children who ChildNet serves.
· By supporting this event, you join hundreds of stakeholders who make ChildNet possible. Most of ChildNet’s budget is restricted to specific priorities. The funds raised from the “Care for Kids” event will provide ChildNet the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our children youth, and caregivers and take advantage of arising opportunities and react to unforeseen challenges.
