The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) to host Into America’s Wild Weekend, presented by RV Retailer, March 26-28.
• Throughout the weekend, explorers can participate in a series of interactive activities designed to let them fly, roam, travel, voyage, explore, journey, discover and experience America’s Wild.
• Activities include:
o Examine how animals and humans survive, explore environmental sustainability and meet MODS animal ambassadors from Florida’s wild places.
o Grow your green thumb by learning to transform your home into a mini-nature center.
o Make-and-take animal crafts for an urban wilderness.
• As part of the adventure, guests can watch Into America’s Wild, a 40-minute family-friendly film, in the AutoNation® IMAX® 3D Theater. Narrated by actor Morgan Freeman, viewers will explore the transformational allure of wild places and the human connection we share with the world alongside trailblazers John Herrington, Ariel Tweto and Jennifer Pharr Davis.
• Masks are mandatory for all guests over the age of 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine and all are required to follow our Healthy Choices Make Healthy Scientists protocols to ensure a safe experience.
Museum weekend hours:
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
DETAILS:Into America’s Wild activities are included with the purchase of a MODS Discovery Pass. Tickets can be purchased by visiting mods.org/tickets or by visiting the Museum box office upon arrival.
