Caroline Fowler, Starr Director of the Research and Academic Program, Clark Art Institute, tells the history of paper related to artists’ workshops, exploring how paper shaped the transmission of ideas between the 13th and 16th centuries. Fowler also discusses how artworks shared across cultures impacted Dürer and Rembrandt.
