Art Throwdown & Monster Drawing Rally at the Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach
Think of it as IRON CHEF but for artists. On June 7th, swing by the Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach from 5pm – 10pm for the First Annual Art Throwdown and Monster Drawing Rally.
The Monster Drawing Rally is part performance, part art-walk, part art sale, and is sure to be one of Delray Beach’s liveliest fun-raising events. During the Monster Drawing Rally, artists create artworks from start-to-finish in front of a live audience.
Artwork can be purchased for $30 as soon as they are finished. If more than one person wants the same piece of art they will rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to buy it. The night caps off with the Arts Throwdown will have artists go head to head in a 90 minute challenge.
They’ll each be provided the same art supplies, plus have access to a table of unusual items to use for their 90 minute masterpiece. The winning artist will receive their own show at the Arts Warehouse at a future date.
