AVDA is thrilled to announce that we have an extraordinary speaker scheduled for AVDA’s 13th Annual Heart of a Woman Luncheon on February 26, 2020 at the Royal Palm Yacht Club. Audrey May-Prosper will share her story of surviving domestic and sexual violence at the hands of her ex-husband. In his final act of abuse, he doused her in gasoline and set her on fire. Join us to hear this amazing Sur-Thriver share how she has healed and thrived after abuse.

AVDA’s Heart of a Woman Luncheon celebrates the strength, courage and determination of women, particularly survivors of domestic violence. This lovely event raises funds to support AVDA’s critical and life-saving programs, including our emergency shelter and transitional housing at Casa Vegso, our 24- hour crisis hotline, outreach and legal advocacy as well as our training and violence prevention education programs.
