Discovery Spot Opening at the Museum of Discovery and Science

MODS will be opening their newest exhibit, Discovery Spot, presented by JM Family Enterprises, on Friday, August 4.

Discovery Spot is a fun and engaging exhibit that offers numerous opportunities for young scientists (ages 0-6) and their families to explore iconic Florida environments – from Ocean to Air and the Everglades to the Citrus Grove – where children can splash, climb, tinker and explore.

Each area supports a child’s open-ended, role-playing and imaginative play.

The new Discovery Spot celebrates the Museum’s legacy as The Discovery Center, which was installed as a permanent exhibit space at the Museum when it opened in 1992 and welcomed more than 12 million guests from every state and countless countries over the past three decades.

The exhibit, which encompasses 4,000 square feet of Museum space, will open to the public on Friday, August 4, at 10 a.m.
