Recent Artist Magazine and Pastel Journal award winning artist Deborah LaFogg Docherty will show you how to achieve the textures of fur, feathers and fins while using black pastel paper to make your paintings pop. Looking at LaFogg Docherty’s work, many people think that her painting are photographs. She takes this as a compliment since she is a photorealistic painter. This workshop will focus on techniques creating realistic textures to give your wildlife paintings a vivid natural look. Learn to paint your beloved pet or that favorite photo of a bird at your feeder, all under the guidance of a pastel professional.
