Give Life To Your Characters In Fiction
Instructor: Winston Aarons
TWO 1/2 DAY WORKSHOPS
In this workshop/discussion course, the instructor will take attendees into the complex world of character development in the novel. Formidably crafted, engaging, believable and multi-layered characters are the hallmark of every great work of fiction. In the short story and novel, it is the characters, particularly wellcrafted protagonists, that will engage the reader and hold his attention. The attendees will learn how to develop such characters in their works. By means of an open forum the instructor will discuss and explain the literary machinery behind character development. Attendees will come to understand how characters bounce off each other, shed light on each other, and the importance this has on the development of the protagonist and the work as a whole.
Saturday 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm | 5/11/19, 7/13/19 | Fee: $40
