On Sunday, November 3 at 5pm, Music at St. Paul’s will present a service of Choral Evensong for All Saints’ Sunday. Featuring the Chancel Choir of St. Paul’s under the direction of Dr. Paul Cienniwa with guest organist Kirsten Hellman, repertoire will include Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in D Major by Healey Willan; Preces and Responses by Richard Shephard; Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Fauré; and A Musician’s Prayer by Charles Callahan. Ms. Hellman will also play organ voluntaries by Nicholaus Bruhns (Praeludium No. 2 in E minor) and Sigfrid Karg-Elert (Now Thank We All Our God (Marche Triomphale), Op. 65, No. 59).
Choral Evensong is open to the public, and St. Paul’s is handicapped accessible. A freewill offering is encouraged to support the programming.
