Purim and Pizza
On March 1, from 4-6pm, the PJ Library in South Palm Beach County invites families to a fun, pre-Purim celebration featuring guest author and celebrated illustrator, Alan Silberberg. Silberberg, who wrote “Meet the Hamantaschen” and other beloved titles, will introduce kids ages 5-10 to all his Purim characters, share holiday stories, and teach children how to draw food doodles. A kosher pizza dinner will be served, and children are encouraged to wear Purim costumes. Guests are also encouraged to bring a box of pasta to be donated to the Jacobson Family Food Pantry located at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
Registration is required and space is limited. RSVP at Jewishboca.org/purim. Cost is $10 per family.
For more information, please contact PJ Library director Elana Ostroff at pjlibrary@bocafed.org or call (561) 852-6080.
