Registration for United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED Operation Turkey Dinner is now open for all Veterans.
Operation Turkey Dinner is United Way of Broward County MISSION UNITED’s annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution event and is open to Veterans, Active Military, Active National Guard and Active Reserve Members who are Broward County residents and have valid ID showing proof of service.
Each Thanksgiving Box feeds a family of four (4) and includes a box of instant stuffing mix, cans of corn, jars of gravy, instant mashed potatoes, pie crust, can of pumpkin, marshmallows, cans of green beans, cans of evaporated milk, jellied cranberry, cornbread mix, aluminum foil and a $25 grocery store gift card.
Meals will be distributed on Monday, November 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at United Way of Broward County's Colker Center in a drive-thru setup.
To receive the meals, all participants must register in advance and will need to present their online registration ticket and proof of Veteran or military status while in the drive-through line.
