Street Art Regatta

The Street Art Regatta (StAR) is a free interactive art exhibit on the water at early evening when the skies are beautiful and the air is cooler for the general public to gather on Fort Lauderdale's coastal park waters and gaze at colorful imagery painted on sails maneuvered by some of the best youth sailors in the region.

The event is in its fourth year and occurs at a new location in 2024 along the deep waters of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the adjoining Sunrise Bay.

Guests can enter the park with the small fee assessed per car ($2-$6) which helps to run the parks many amenities. Audiences can set up a picnic on the grassy area just beyond the sea wall and watch the exhibition of painted sails.

This year features the most ever designs by artists including fifty (50) different creations. Swamp Space Gallery from the Miami Design District also organized four new sails.
